Real Madrid have finally landed Welshman Gareth Bale in a deal worth a staggering £86MILLION. It was a agreed last night after Daniel Levy finally gave the go ahead for the deal to take place after talks with Florentino perez last week in Madrid.

The young centre-back featured sparingly for FC Barcelona last season, despite a defensive crisis which saw numerous players used in the Catalan giants defense. According to several sources and most notably Goal.com, Tottenham Hotspur are considering the services of the 22 year old centre back. According to UK newspaper The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur has rejected an astronomical bid for their prized asset, Gareth Bale by Real Madrid. The Welshman is understood to be angry as he though he had an understanding with Tottenham’s chairman Daniel Levy. According to reports coming from UK newspaper The Sun and Madrid daily Marca, Gareth Bale could well and truly be on his way to Real Madrid for a mega transfer fee. Reports suggest that Real have tied up a £51m five year wage deal coupled with a mega £80m transfer fee with Bale’s representatives although Andre Villas-Boas is ready to fight tooth and nail for his prized asset.
