Tottenham targeting Barca’s Marc Bartra

The young centre-back featured sparingly for FC Barcelona last season, despite a defensive crisis which saw numerous players used in the Catalan giants defense. According to several sources and most notably Goal.com, Tottenham Hotspur are considering the services of the 22 year old centre back. Barca defender Marc Bartra out for 10 days with knee sprain

Barca defender Marc Bartra will be out of action for 10 days with a knee sprain according to the Barcelona medical staff. Xavi Hernandez, who was missing for the league match against Real Madrid last Saturday, has trained with the full squad but will not be called into action against Deportivo this weekend. Jordi Roura will rest him so he’s a 100% fit for Tuesday’s clash against A.C Milan.
