It was first blood to Bayern Munich and Pep Guardiola on Wednesday night at the Allianz Arena in Munich for the first running of the Uli Hoeness Cup. Both teams were playing to a sell out crowd which saw an amazing 21 substitutions. According to reports coming from UK newspaper The Sun and Madrid daily Marca, Gareth Bale could well and truly be on his way to Real Madrid for a mega transfer fee. Andrés Iniesta gives new Barca coach Tata Martino seal of approval

Barca’s Andrés Iniesta supports the decision of the signing of the Argentine coach and stresses that now it’s up to the players to fulfil their duty. Iniesta was speaking at a function in which he planted the first tree in a reforestation project by Sony and WWF in the village of Júzcar which was used in the film The Smurfs.
