Barca’s Pedro and Jordi Alba missed the first training session in Malaysia yesterday ahead of the final match as part of the club’s pre-season in Asia. Danish press assure Barca has put bid in for Daniel Agger

The search drags on for a new central defender and Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet assures us that FC Barcelona has made a bid of £17.5M for Liverpool’s Daniel Agger. Although Barcelona steamrollered past Thailand this afternoon to the tune of a 1-7 thrashing, the game served as a reminder of what’s lacking in the squad as they face the new season .
