Some good news for Barcelona fans is that Argentine leo Messi’s injury is not as serious as first thought. The little striker grabbed a stunning first-half opener before he was subbed off with a hamstring problem at the break. According to German sports weekly, Sport Bild, Hummels has a market value of around 25Million Euros and Borussia Dortmund say that they have no intention of offloading their valued central defender. The Spanish national team La Roja silenced France in a one nil thriller in the Stade de France in Sant Denis last night whilst silencing their critics, too. With a referee who didn’t fancy complicating things and who forgave too freely the France team’s faux pas including a clear penalty, Spain now move to the top spot of the group and one point ahead of their French counterparts.
