It was a glorious ending to a tumultuous season at FC Barcelona. The beginning of the year proved tough and patience seemed to be running out for new coach Luis Enrique. However, things turned around for the club on a dramatic level as the Catalans lifted La Liga, La Copa del Rey and Champions League trophies.

Barcelona and Spain defender Gerard Pique was given a frosty reception by Spain fans last Thursday in their 2-1 victory over Costa Rica. Spain came from behind to win but Pique was given the cold shoulder by the fans because of his comments whilst celebrating Barça’s treble victory.
