FC Barcelona have decided to give squad numbers to Ibrahim Afellay and Isaac Cuenca even though they won’t be called on by the coach. The board has decided to give them numbers as they haven’t been able to loan them out, transfer them or let them go on free transfers. It was a fantastic game at the Mestalla stadium last night where Barca beat Valencia by 3 goals to 1. It was end to end stuff and provided pure entertainment with Messi getting a hat trick and Valencia’s Postiga netting two.

It was end to end stuff and totally expected. It was a very physical Supercup final and Barca came off victorious although it ended in a 0-0 draw.
