Argentine maestro Leo Messi has admitted that the only thing that is missing from his spectacular career is a World Cup Winners’ medal. The 25 year-old spoke on Monday night in Switzerland at the awards ceremony and conceded that he would gladly swap one of his FIFA Ballon d’Or awards for a World Cup medal with his country Argentina.

Zagallo also said that Messi has yet to be a World Cup winner with Argentina,something that Pele won three times.

David Villa, Barcelona’s unsettled striker, looks set to decide his future in June according to Barcelona sources. Tito Vilanova has had great difficulty placing him in a team full of quality players and it looks like Villa is destined to be the fall guy.
