Isaac Cuenca back training, Carles Puyol almost ready

Barcelona’s Isaac Cuenca, who underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in May of this year, has been back in training, as reported by the Catalan club.

Cuenca, who played last season on loan at Ajax of Amsterdam, had surgery to address the discomfort he had in the lateral meniscus in his right knee and has been recovering since early June. Continue reading

Premier League’s latest talent Ravel Morrison causing a stir

One young star that is causing a stir after a great goal this weekend is West Ham United prodigy Ravel Morrison.

The 20 year old attacking midfielder ran from the half way line and scored a goal reminiscent of Leo Messi’s solo against Getafe when he was just 19 years old.Although Morrison didn’t have to beat half the men Messi did, I’m sure you’ll appreciate the fantastic run from him along with a cheeky chip over the Tottenham keeper.Read more about Ravel Morrison

Why does nobody believe Neymar?

He’s the most fouled player in the Spanish League and he’s ended up on the ground the most times as a consequence of some tough tackling. However, no one believes Neymar’s going to ground is a result of the foul committed on him. Spectacular comeback by Barca against Valladolid

It was surely a spectacular comeback last night from Barcelona at the Nou Camp as the Catalans looked like being held to a draw by a very good Valladolid side.

The first half saw just two goals, the first coming from Javi Guerra from Valladolid in the 10th minute. Barcelona responded 4 minutes later with a goal from Alexis in the 14th minute to make the scores even.Read the match report
