The announcement of the new Barca coach that will fill the void left by Tito Vilanova is around the corner. The Catalan club’s plan is, as President Sandro Rosell announced on Friday, that the new coach be presented this week. Ex Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has spoken for the first time in a press conference after hearing the sad news of Tito Vilanova’s relapse. FC Barcelona gave some tragic news last night that Tito Vilanova will not be continuing on as coach. According to La Vanguardia, Tito handed in his resignation this morning after receiving news of a second relapse of his cancer. Tito Vilanova appeared at his first press conference this season and spoke about the scathing words Pep Guardiola had for his ex club the other day. For tonight’s clash against Valladolid at the Camp Nou, Barcelona will find itself without Abidal, Adriano or Alves.
