City let off hook as Leo misses chance to punish them

Luis Suárez netted two but Leo Messi failed to make it three by missing a penalty kick after Zabaleta brought him down. That gave City some breathing space for the return leg on 18th March.

It was a clear case of “much ado about nothing” last night at the Etihad as Barcelona steamrollered City by 2 goals to nil in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 clash.
