Puyol’s dislocated elbow overshadows Barca’s win against Benfica

FC Barcelona beat a stubborn Benfica side here in Lisbon last night by two goals to nil with goals coming from Alexis and Cesc Fabregás. The night was spoiled however as Barca captain Carles Puyol suffered a dislocation to his left elbow which left him in agony on the floor. Puyol was stretchered off to a standing ovation by the Lisbon crowd.
