Barcelona reached their first Champions League final since 2011, despite Pep Guardiola’s Bayern Munich salvaging much pride in the return leg in Germany at the Allianz Arena. Trailing 3-0 from the first leg, Pep’s team revived their hopes through Medhi Benatia’s early downward header which gave ter Stegen no chance.

Arjen Robben got his reward last night at London’s Wembley stadium after clinching a late winner to win the Champions League final for Bayern Munich. It was a great game in which Borussia Dortmund outplayed the winners in the first half. However, in the second half, Dortmund lost their formation and Bayern made them pay the price.
