Barcelona made it through to the quarter finals of the Champions league last night against Manchester City but it was Joe Hart who spared the visitors from more than just a red face by keeping the scoreline to a single goal. Sergio Aguero had the chance to equal the scores but his pathetic penalty was comfortably saved by ter Stegen.

Monday evening was the turn of Barcelona’s 9 amateur teams to gain recognition for all their hard work. At an event held at the Palau Blaugrana, Barça President Josep Maria Bartomeu introduced a membership card for all members thanking them and their families for all their hard work and support.

The 24 year old is out of contract in 18 months and Barça’s scouts have been seen at Anfield.
