Del Bosque tight lipped regarding David Villa and Cesc Fabregas

The Spain national team trained on Monday afternoon in the Stade de France, ahead of tonight’s World Cup qualifier against France for the 2014 World Cup. On a somewhat irregular pitch, Vicente Del Bosque’s stars trained in an open door session but without giving anything away regarding two of his best men from FC Barcelona; Cesc Fabregás and David Villa.

While the France team only allowed 15 minutes to the press before their training session shut the doors to all onlookers, Spain, on the other hand, trained under the watchful eyes of the national and international media. La Roja, confident about tonight’s clash, trained in an open session without a care in the world.

Del Bosque tight lipped over Villa and Cesc

Perhaps the most striking aspect of the session was the worrying state of the pitch at Saint-Denis. In fact, some of the Spanish players complained about poor bounce of the ball although a battalion of gardeners began to work as the world champions left the pitch and brought an end to their training session.

As for the big question that everyone is asking, it appears that Del Bosque has only one doubt regarding his first eleven and the training session on Monday did nothing to help the media and press work out the intentions of the coach from Salamanca because he had both David Villa and Cesc Fabregás training on the same side.

With Spain being second in the group, France will try everything in their power to stop the world champions. Spain needs to top the group in order to provide a smooth transition into the next stage and not meet the winners of the next group.

The Montenegro coach whose team face England tonight has said that he will park the bus in his own half and let England come at them hoping to catch Roy Hodgson’s team on the break. They are trying dirty tactics ahead of the clash by winding the team up.

The last time England played Montenegro, Wayne Rooney got sent off and missed two vital games of the Euro 2012 tournament. Rooney is convinced that he will not fall foul of the ref and be oblivious to any under-hand tactics the Montenegro team tries to throw at him. After England’s 8 nil thrashing of minnows San Marino, England are ready to step up to the mark and beat Montenegro to top the group.
