David Villa admitted to hospital for a nephritic colic infection

Barcelona forward David Villa has been admitted to hospital suffering from a nephritic colic infection. The pain from a nephritic colic infection typically begins in the abdomen and often radiates to the hypochondrium or the groin.

Villa, who scored in yesterday’s goal-fest against Getafe at the Nou Camp where Barca won by 6 goals to 1 will undergo kidney stone treatment in the next few hours.

It is difficult to say but at this stage David Villa is doubtful for the clash against Granada on Saturday.
