David Villa from Barcelona Fc has just become the highest scorer in the history of the Spanish international team. With two goals last night against the Chec Republic, Villa has scored 46 goals for Spain and which is two more than current record goal scorer Raúl González.
This is the tenth time Villa has scored more than two goals for the Spanish team and adds this brace to 8 doubles and two hat-tricks.
Raúl had scored 44 goals with the Spanish team in 102 games and has been out of the team for four years now having been replaced by David Villa.
