5 straight wins for Barcelona

Barca overcomes stubborn Sevilla at Nou Camp

It was a great game at the Nou Camp last night with both teams giving their all. The game ended in a 3-2 win in Barca’s favour despite Sevilla having a goal disallowed by referee Muñiz in a controversial decision that left the Andalusian club perplexed.

Messi hat-trick makes it three out of three at Mestalla

It was a fantastic game at the Mestalla stadium last night where Barca beat Valencia by 3 goals to 1. It was end to end stuff and provided pure entertainment with Messi getting a hat trick and Valencia’s Postiga netting two.

Positive things can be taken away by both teams but without a doubt we are seeing Messi back to his best.More on the match

An equal match says Javier Mascherano

With an exceptional goal from ex Blaugrana David Villa to put Atletico Madrid in the lead, it needed Neymar to come on in the 67th minute to make the scores even. Javier Mascherano said after the game that it was very equal and he was so right.

Martino’s era starts with 7 nil thrashing of Levante

Tata Martino began his spell in charge of FC Barcelona in the best possible way with the biggest win in the history of the club in the first game of the season. Levante had no chance against a Barca side that were more like a whirlwind in the first half.

Barca finish season with magical 100 points

FC Barcelona have done it. They have finished the league with a magical 100 points in the bag. It’s been a difficult year for the Catalan team although they practically had the league title sealed up six months ago. Barcelona wins seventh Copa de Catalunya beating Espanyol

Barcelona won the Copa de Catalunya for the seventh time last night after beating Espanyol on penalties by 4 goals to 2. The match, which was played at the Camp d’Esports de Lleida, finished 1 goal apiece thanks to a very late Cesc Fabregás goal in the 89th minute to draw the game. Rain didn’t wash away Barca’s joy at Camp Nou

Barca beat Valladolid last night at the Camp Nou and are still on course for getting the magical 100 points this season if they beat Espanyol and Malaga in the last two games. The match last night was played in torrential rain ans saw only 50,000 Barca fans make it to the stadium. The rain didn’t wash out the post match celebrations however.
