A wonderful display by Real Betis last night on their home ground turned the tables on Pep Guardiola’s Barça with a stunning 3-1 victory. It wasn’t enough to put them into the semi finals of La Copa del Rey as Barcelona FC won on aggregate, doing enough in the first leg to seal victory. Betis scored two goals in 7 minutes and Messi put a penalty over the bar in what seemed a strange night for football. A brace of goals from Molina, one from Messi and a third by Arzu sealed Barça’s fate. A great game for Betis and Barcelona will be wondering what happened last night as Betis seem the only team that has been able to make Barcelona quake.
