Gunners manager, Arsène Wenger, has spoken out on his blog about the quarter-final clash between FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the Champions League which is held tomorrow evening, and stated that the Blaugranas are not “invincible” and PSG could progress to the next round.
“If Celtic Glasgow and A.C Milan have been able to beat Barca, then everything is possible for a team like Paris Saint-Germain. And Barcelona are not invincible,” assured Arsenal’s manager.
The French coach believes that Barcelona has “improved in technical quality”, but Tito Vilanova’s squad has become “more vulnerable” – a weakness that Paris Saint-Germain can take advantage of tomorrow.
“It is clear that Barca possesses the highest technical ability. But they have also lost something along the way. They are now more vulnerable at the back and I know that the PSG has enough offensive potential to exploit this vulnerability that did not exist in past seasons,” he noted.
Arsène Wenger believes that another key to Paris Saint-Germain dumping Barca out of the next round of the Champions League is by “avoiding Messi as much as possible” because “the Argentine is involved in around 60-70 percent of Barca’s offensive game and their goals,” he concluded.
Barca have already arrived in the city of lights for the showdown along with regular coach Tito Vilanova who has already warned his team that they need to tighten up at the back.
Wenger…..is time ….to stop shacking your legs.-
