Toffees could make a move for Gerard Deulofeu again

Gerard Deulofeu could be on his way back to Goodison Park in 2015

Everton could be making moves to bring back Gerard Deulofeu to Goodison Park again.

Barcelona needed Deulofeu to gain some more experience and that’s what he did for Everton during his year long loan spell at Everton. Under manager Roberto Martínez, the star improved and honed his skill set only to go back to the Catalans and not have a place in the first team. Under new manager Luis Enrique, Deulofeu has been sidelined and was unable to force his way into the starting 11 only to be loaned out again, this time to Andalusian side Sevilla.

Everton are hoping it’s second time lucky as they prepare a bid for the winger and 20 year-old Deulofeu must be thinking that Martínez’s interest is a god send as the youngster must surely doubt his immediate future at the Nou Camp.

Everton are monitoring the situation closely along with a few other teams, with the Daily Star suggesting that an £8 million deal could be tabled in the summer of 2015.

It was a shame that Deulofeu left the Premier League but the 20 year old was hoping to get back into the Barça side under Luis Enrique. Therefore, with Martinez confident the winger can be a hit again in the English Premier League, all that is left is for Barcelona to sell him when their FIFA ban ends in the summer of 2015.
