Liverpool are willing to put down £5M for his signature and the boss has already given the deal his blessing. Brendan Rodgers has a knack for turning young stars into world class players and young Bojan will fit into the coach’s plans perfectly. Raheem Sterling and Phillipe Coutinho are two of Rodgers’ young stars that are flourishing under his guidance and control.
Bojan Krkic was hailed as one of the best young talents under the direction of Guardiola and was valued some £35M at the time, before he signed for Serie A giants, Roma. He then went to rivals Inter Milan on loan as things in Rome didn’t go too well to plan. Barça then brought the player back via a clause in his contract, then loaned him out to Dutch giants, Ajax.
Under Pep Guardiola, Bojan was used in a variety of roles and this is what interests Liverpool. He is quite capable of playing up front or on the wings and will provide Rodgers with some need reinforcement in case Luis Suarez or Daniel Sturridge get injured. The Anfield outfit are keen on him and they have sent out scouts to watch the 23 year old play in the Europa League for Ajax.
No other clubs are currently eyeing up the star and Liverpool look certain to swoop for him should Barcelona offer a decent deal. Krkic is currently studying his options and will make a decision at the end of this campaign.
“We’ll see about my future, there are still two months of the season to go before any decisions have to be made,” explained Krkic.
Bojan Krkic has fallen by the wayside as many young promising talents have done so in the past at Spain’s top clubs. I think he needs a second chance and some guidance and I would like to see him at Liverpool where he would definitely make his mark under the watchful eye of Brendan Rodgers.
