Leo arrives back in Barcelona today
FC Barcelona fans all over have every reason to be happy today because Leo Messi is returning to Barcelona after a month away in his native Argentina. Barca’s star player thus brings an end to his recovery period in Buenos Aires and Rosario to get over his hamstring injury, from which the player has fully recovered.
The recovery process, which has been monitored by doctors from both FC Barcelona and the Argentine national team, has taken place with complete normality and the star will be able to play in the Catalan giant’s upcoming matches. Barcelona Coach Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino will speak with Leo Messi today to see when exactly he’ll be able to reappear with the Barca first eleven.
The main goal of the coach is that Messi is fully recovered to face Atlético Madrid on 11th January. To do this, Martino will give his star some playing time either in the match this weekend against Elche, or in La Copa del Rey next Wednesday against Getafe.
Leo Messi will arrive back in Barcelona this afternoon. Therefore, the morning training session will be lost, but he will able to train in the afternoon. Messi will travel back to Barcelona along with trainer Elvio Paulorosso.
