The match against Malaga on Sunday at the Rosaleda was won by an untouchable Barcelona who had a little room to showboat their skills.
What was witnessed in Malaga would not have looked out of place on the training field and you just have to take your hat off to Barcelona for providing an awesome spectacle.
A Barca trio made up of Leo Messi, Sergio Busquets and Xavi Hernandez were knocking the ball around at double quick pace with the Malaga players unable to get a look in – mesmerised. In all, they strung together around 9 passes in 9 seconds!
The game ended up 3-1 to Barca and cements their terrific lead at the top of the Spanish League table. They are still unbeaten this season which is a fantastic run of games as they look set to emulate Arsenal’s unbeaten run to win the league in the Premiership in the 2003-2004 season – the only club to do this in 100 years without losing a game.
The win away at Malaga set a new record points score for the halfway point in the season and means that Barca have notched up 55 points out of a possible 57 which is incredible. The win also restored the Catalan club’s 11-point lead at the top ahead of second-placed Atletico Madrid.

I have never seen this before. The only team I saw play so beautifully is the great Brazilian sides. Oh what beauty, such magic. I live in England and I somehow fell in love with Barcelona since 1992,it was the great Brazilian player Rivaldo and kliuvert who I saw playing for that Spanish team and all of sudden I fell in love with that team,our Barcelona. So much beautifull football.
