Barcelona’s Neymar Jr lead the goal fest against Australia where Brazil won by 6 goals to nil in a friendly match at the estadio Nacional Mané Garrincha in Brasilia.

Gerardo Martino was speaking about Brazilian Neymar and feels that by not throwing him in at the deep end, he has benefitted the young man. Martino points out that although everyone wants to see him including himself, the Brazilian is still a very young man.

FC Barcelona are facing a real dilema with the new season kicking off for the Catalan giants this evening at the Nou Camp against Levante. The club has four players for one spot up front with top guns Neymar and Messi.

The Catalan club won by a comfortable 3 goals to 1 and Neymar took firm hold of the reins with Messi absent from the pitch due to muscle fatigue. Brazilian star Neymar made his debut last night in Poland against a very stubborn Lechia Gdansk side. The Barca fans didn’t get to see him team up with Messi as they had hoped for and the Polish side gave him a customary welcome to European football by kicking him and roughing him up in a friendly game that ended up 2 apiece. Barcelona number 10 Lionel Messi says that Neymar won’t have any problems adapting at the Catalan club. Messi was speaking at a press conference yesterday and had kind words for the young Brazilian.
