Neymar leads goal fest in friendly against Australia

Barcelona’s Neymar Jr lead the goal fest against Australia where Brazil won by 6 goals to nil in a friendly match at the estadio Nacional Mané Garrincha in Brasilia.

Apart from his own goal, Neymar participated in three other goals. Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari had said that he wanted to use the friendly to test out alternatives and came away pleased with the performance. Continue reading

Gerardo Martino: “Neymar would have benefited, not harmed”

Gerardo Martino was speaking about Brazilian Neymar and feels that by not throwing him in at the deep end, he has benefitted the young man. Martino points out that although everyone wants to see him including himself, the Brazilian is still a very young man.

Barca dilema: one spot for four players

FC Barcelona are facing a real dilema with the new season kicking off for the Catalan giants this evening at the Nou Camp against Levante. The club has four players for one spot up front with top guns Neymar and Messi.

Neymar getting into his role against Malaysia

Neymar enjoyed his role at the last game of Barcelona’s pre season tune up in Asia. The Catalan club won by a comfortable 3 goals to 1 and Neymar took firm hold of the reins with Messi absent from the pitch due to muscle fatigue.
