Messi doesn’t finish game against Atletico Madrid

Barca beat Atletico Madrid last night without wanting to. After a goal by Radamel Falcao and a late goal by Alexis Sánchez, Atletico’s Gabi put the ball into the back of his own net past a bewildered Courtois to hand victory to Barca. Fans think Messi should not have played against Bayern

FC Barcelona’s fans think that Leo Messi should not have been on the pitch at the Allianz Arena in Munich last night. Barca lost by four goals to nil and the fans think the Argentine should have been dropped as he didn’t seem right. He covered very little territory, almost 4.5 km less than Xavi Hernandez managed. Messi comes off bench to inspire Barca win

Leo Messi came off the bench last night at the Nou Camp in order to inspire his team. Inspired they were and found the goal necessary via Pedro to take them into the semi finals of the Champions League. Tito Vilanova: “If Messi travels on Sunday it is because he can play”

Barcelona FC coach Tito Vilanova has said at a news conference held this Saturday that if there are no setbacks, Leo Messi will play against Betis on Sunday. The Argentine star completed a training session earlier on today without any discomfort but Tito refused to say whether Leo would be in the starting lineup.
