Argentine astro Leo Messi spoke out for the first time today about the knee injury he picked up last night against Benfica in the Champions League. He said that while he was on the stretcher he was thinking the worst. Fortunately for both Messi and his club the injury wasn’t as serious as expected and could play against Betis on Sunday.

Barca and Benfica draw leaves Portuguese out of Champions League

After a goalless draw last night at the Nou Camp, Benfica go crashing out of the Champions League as Celtic won their match against Spartak by 2 goals to 1.
