Isaac Cuenca back training, Carles Puyol almost ready

Barcelona’s Isaac Cuenca, who underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in May of this year, has been back in training, as reported by the Catalan club.

Cuenca, who played last season on loan at Ajax of Amsterdam, had surgery to address the discomfort he had in the lateral meniscus in his right knee and has been recovering since early June. Continue reading

Valencia have asked for Barca youngster Isaac Cuenca on loan and are awaiting an answer from Barca. Valencia want Cuenca to reinforce their squad as they will miss Feghouli who will be on international duty in the Africans Cup with Algeria.
