Barca loses out in the Super Cup to Real Madrid

A brilliant Barcelona down to ten men from the 27th minute showed a display of some great football but failed to bring home the Super Cup after losing to Real Madrid 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabéu last night.

Barca drew first blood in the first leg of the clasico Spanish Super Cup against Real Madrid. Although the game was pretty poor in the first half with Madrid looking more bored than anything else, it soon livened up in the second half with goals from Pedro, Messi and Xavi.
