Barca’s new stadium to be covered and bigger than Camp Nou

Nobody knows where the new FC Barcelona stadium is going to be but there are two things we do know: it’s going to be bigger, with a capacity for around 105,000 fans and it’s going to be covered. The Barca board are shuffling two options for the stadium. Option one is to move not very far away and build a new stadium or option two is to rebuild the current Camp Nou as a type of progressive, ongoing project. More about the new Camp Nou

Neymar presented to 56,000 Barca fans

Neymar was presented on the pitch at the Camp Nou to 56,500 screaming fans earlier on in Barcelona. After touching down in the city at 13:00 the player went straight to Barca’s offices and underwent a medical before having lunch and then signing his five-year contract that takes him up to 2018. Barca back in form against Real Betis

It was a great match at the Camp Nou last night and Barca had to come from behind then from a 2-2 to finally beat the Andulusian side by 4 goals to 2. Pepe Mel’s team put on a terrific display and Rubén Pérez scored an absolute blinder to put Betis in front. The Catalans can win the league this week if Real Madrid fail to beat Malaga.
