Goalkeeper Victor Valdes said goodbye to his Barca teammates yesterday in an emotional farewell at the beautiful Can Ferran restaurant just outside the city. Apparently his agent, Pere Guardiola, had written into his contract a clause that would drop the player’s transfer fee to just 18M euros if Thiago didn’t play a certain percentage of games.
