Barcelona stadium lit up as Catalans sink Hercules

Rafinha celebrates his goal at the Barcelona stadium

The Barcelona stadium was lit up on Wednesday night as the Catalans put 7 goals past Hercules in the Copa del Rey. this means that Barça win by an amazing 8-1 on aggregate!

One of the highlights of last night’s match was Rafinha’s strike in the 50th minute to become the Barcelona’s fourth-highest scorer in all competitions this season, what an achievement for the young Barcelona FC player.

Following a rather pathetic 1-1 away-leg draw, a second-string Barcelona side managed to turn the tie around at the Barcelona stadium as the hosts ran away with a 7-0 victory, with Arda Turan getting a second-half hat-trick in the final moments of the match. This second hat trick now puts Arda on 11 goals this season.

Therefore, FC Barcelona have once again qualified for the last-16 of the competition, and have their eyes firmly on yet another title and more silverware for the Barcelona museum!

Apart from Turan’s 3 goals, the match also saw Rafinha pull level with Brazilian teammate Neymar with six goals in all competitions this term having netted on five occasions in La Liga as well as his one goal in the domestic cup.
