Luis Suárez reveals why he left Anfield

Luis Suarez Barcelona

Uruguayan hit man Luis Suárez has revealed that the main reason for leaving Anfield for Barcelona was the chance of Champions League glory, hinting that the Catalan giants always have a chance of winning Europe’s top competition.

Luis Suárez left Liverpool last season in the wake of his biting Giorgio Chiellini at the 2014 World cup in Brazil. He was by far Liverpool’s best player last term but hasn’t found Spain a piece of cake. In fact, Suárez has found it very difficult to find his feet at the Catalan giants.

After serving his FIFA ban for the biting incident, Suárez has finally become an important part in Barça’s three-pronged striking partnership with Messi and Neymar. It looks like the three stars are finally getting to grips with each other and this is good news for the club as they find themselves at the top of the Spanish league with a two-point advantage over rivals Real Madrid.

Barça are in with a great chance of winning some silverware this season and apart from La Liga, the club meet Paris Saint Germain on Wednesday for the first leg of their Champions League clash. Now would be a good time for FC Barcelona to show PSG what they can really do with their 3 all-star forwards.
