Who’s the ex Barça player eyeing up talent at Nou Camp?

Mark Hughes was in town to eye up Adama Traore and Sandro Ramirez

An ex Barça player has been busy talent spotting and was spotted on Saturday looking at some Barcelona B players he would like to take back to the Premier League on loan.

Ex Manchester United and Barcelona player Mark Hughes, who’s in charge of Stoke city these days, was at the Mini Estadi at the weekend to catch the game against Barça B and Osasuna in the second division.

Hughes was looking at talents such as Adama Traore and Sandro Ramirez and it is believed the Welshman would like the pair on loan until the end of the current campaign.

Hughes already has in his stoke city side the likes of Bojan and Marc Muniesa and has a good rapport with the Catalan club which goes back to his playing days in the 1986-88 seasons. The ex forward made 28 appearances for the club, scoring 4 times.

Barcelona will have noticed how the Bojan and Muniesa have grown and matured under Hughes and this is likely to be a factor that will sway the Nou Camp outfit to let the Welshman have his way.

Traore has come off the bench once for the senior side while Ramirez has made just seven appearances. The duo would be able to hone their skills under Hughes and would be in excellent company with Bojan and Muniesa if the deal went through.
