Alen Halilovic loves the life at FC Barcelona

Alen Halilovic Barcelona

One young star we haven’t heard too much from since his signing is starlet Alen Halilovic. The 18 year old came from Dinamo Zagreb a few months ago but we have yet to see him in the full squad, largely because he’s been playing in the Barça B team and is learning his trade there although he’s only played two games.

The attacking midfielder played 44 matches with his former team and scored 7 times. The young Croatian star is happy with life at Barcelona and has settled down well apart from striking up a good friendship with fellow countryman Ivan Rakitic.

Zagreb’s ‘Jutarnji List’ newspaper asked the midfielder what’s it was like at Barcelona: It’s amazing, simply amazing. It’s everything we’d agreed, down to the tiniest detail”, said the 18-year-old.

“Before I arrived, we outlined how I would train and progress. Everything is going exactly according to that plan. I feel great. I have nothing but great things to say about my time at Barcelona”, he said.

He also told the newspaper that he was very happy Barcelona have registered him for this season’s UEFA Champions League campaign.

“In doing so they’ve shown how strongly I figure in their plans. Now it’s my turn to train hard to justify the faith that everyone at Barcelona has placed in my talent”, he explained.
“Rakitic helps me a lot. He sorts me out whenever I need something”, he highlighted.

Certainly the young Alen Halilovic has a lot to learn at FC Barcelona but he also has a lot to give. He’s only 18 years old and has a great future ahead of him.
