Alex Song signed by West Ham United on loan

Alex Song West Ham United

This week it was always looking like Alex Song was going to end up back in the Premier League and it has happened, but not to the club we had originally thought.

Alex Song has signed for East London club West Ham United on a year long loan. Song has had an unhappy spell at Barcelona and the Catalans have moved him on before the transfer window closes. The midfielder is excited to be back in the premier League and I’m sure he will fit in well with the Hammers as they could surely do with a player of his knowledge and power.

26 year-old song has fallen out of favour at the Catalan giants and so joins the hammers on a season-long loan and is up for the challenge of re-igniting his career in the Prem.

“I think the club has very good ambition and I hope we can maybe catch the European positions,” said Alex Song.

The Hammers have pipped other European clubs to the post by signing the Cameroon international and the player is said to be impressed with the club’s plans for the future.

West Ham United will soon be moving into the Olympic stadium and Song wants to be part of that.

I need some games to be ready and get my fitness back,” he added.

“When I am 100%, I will bring the experience and I will make the fans happy, I am sure.

“I am lucky to be back in London, back in England and with West Ham. I am looking forward to showing everyone what I can do.

“West Ham is looking to be a very, very big club in the future. The club has a great project and it is a very big project with very big ambition.”

We wish Alex Song all the best for the future at one of London’s most charismatic clubs, West Ham United.

About Aaron

My name's Aaron and I'm a great Barça fan. I like to tell it like it is and if there is something I don't like about the club or something that needs addressing, you'll know!
