Cristian Tello

Tello will force his way out if Barca doesn’t play him

Arsenal’s move to bring Julian Draxler to the Emirates stadium in London could have hit rocky ground according to reports. With hours to go before the January transfer window shuts tight, Arsenal FC boss Arsene Wenger looks to have turned his attention to Barcelona again.

Apparently Draxler has a sky high release clause written into his contract and news from Germany today seem to suggest that the Germany international Schalke today as hoped. The German club have been quite abrupt with their words, and it is feared that he will be staying in Gelsenkirchen.

Therefore, the North London club are believed to be looking into other prospects. The Daily Mail suggests that Arsenal may be trying to seduce the Blaugrana club with a loan deal for young Cristian Tello.

The Daily Mail have stated that Arsenal have made a loan approach for Tello, who has not had many starts this season as Martino has an all star lineup to field.

Wenger just happened to be at the Copa del Rey first leg match against Levante where Messi provided Cristian Tello with a hat-trick. Sources say that Arsenal have approached Barcelona to take Tello to the Emirates for the rest of the season.

The 22 year old midfielder has only managed to start 2 games this campaign, coming off the bench 11 times. Apart from the hat-trick scored in the Cup, Tello has yet to find the net in the Spanish League.
