According to Spanish sports paper Marca, last night José Ramón de la Morena on the radio program “El Larguero” on Cadena Ser, Florentino Pérez has told Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos that he would accept an offer of 60 million euros for him.

This news comes to light in the context of meetings in recent days that the player and his representative have had with the club to address the issue of renewing the Andalusian defender’s contract. Currently, Sergio Ramos is one of the captains of the Real Madrid squad.

According to De la Morena, Sergio Ramos told the “Merengue” president that there are some clubs interested in acquiring his services, but none of them would be willing to pay his buyout clause, which amounts to some 150 million euros.

Sergio Ramos then apparently asked Florentino Perez if he would accept an offer of 50 million euros should it ever happen, to which the president replied that he would let the player go to any club for 60 million euros, even FC Barcelona.

José Ramón de la Morena pointed out after that Sergio Ramos has lots of things to make right.Ramos has had a running with the Real Madrid president which still has yet to be sorted out and now the player tells him (Florentino) that his contract offer has to be better.

If Ramos were to leave Real Madrid, would Barca be interested in acquiring the Andalusian player’s services?
