Premier League’s latest talent Ravel Morrison causing a stir

Ravel Morrison goal against Tottenham on Sunday

He’s definitely a talent to watch and I would be surprised if the top clubs in Spain haven’t had their eye on him since the start of the season.

West Ham legend Sir Trevor Brooking once called him the best English talent since Paul Gascoigne. Ravel Morrison came from Manchester United in January of 2012 after Alex Ferguson decided to sell him and cut his losses when he turned down a new contract. His tweeting got him into trouble along with a few brushes with the law and West Ham decided to loan him to Birmingham City for a season. This was just what the young man needed.

Morrison thankfully, has grown in maturity and spent his time in the Championship League learning the ropes. Now he’s back at the east end club and things are looking up for him.

West Ham beat Tottenham by 3 goals to nil on Sunday with their best performance so far this season. They haven’t been firing the goals in lately and big striker Andy Carroll is still injured.

Ravel Morrison is certainly a talent to watch and is exactly the type of midfielder that FC Barcelona or Real Madrid would go for. But for now, look at Morrison’s goal and decide for yourself.

After watching Morrison’s super goal against Tottenham, former United team-mate Rio Ferdinand tweeted: ‘Great to see Ravel Morrison playing well & focused consistently now. That goal wouldn’t make his top 3 goals show reel by the way!’

About Aaron

My name's Aaron and I'm a great Barça fan. I like to tell it like it is and if there is something I don't like about the club or something that needs addressing, you'll know!
