Neymar to decide between Barca and Real Madrid

Barca thought the never-ending story of Neymar was coming to an end last night but it wasn’t to be. Instead, the show has taken another twist and Santos reveal that they have accepted two offers from 2 Spanish clubs. Valdes says goodbye to Barca teammates

Goalkeeper Victor Valdes said goodbye to his Barca teammates yesterday in an emotional farewell at the beautiful Can Ferran restaurant just outside the city. Everyone was present except for Tito, Piqué and Alves and the goalkeeper prepared an emotional music video which included the best moments of his career at the club. More on Valdes farewell dinner

Thiago Alcantara to cost just 18Million Euros!

Barcelona’s Thiago Alcantara is destined to become one of this year’s top transfers at a knockdown price. The knockdown price for the Barca midfielder is just a paltry 18million euros! Apparently his agent, Pere Guardiola, had written into his contract a clause that would drop the player’s transfer fee to just 18M euros if Thiago didn’t play a certain percentage of games. Scathing words for Mourinho from Lorenzo Sanz

Ex Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sanz has made a scathing attack on Jose Mourinho. Speaking to Radio Marca, Sanz acknowledged that he thought the job of Real Madrid coach was too big of a deal for Mo. Leo Messi: “Neymar would be a great addition to Barca”

Leo Messi says that Brazilian superstar Neymar would be a great addition to Barca. Messi was speaking to Qatar TV channel Alkass where he is fulfilling promotional duties with the team. Mats Hummels to continue for another year at Borussia Dortmund

According to German Sports magazine Kicker, sought after German central defender Mats Hummels has stated that he will stay for another year at his club Borussia Dortmund. The 24 year old defender has assured the magazine that he has had no contact from Barcelona or any other club. More on Mats Hummels here

Mourinho to take Courtois and Essien and Pepe off to City

With Mourinho with one foot already in West London club Chelsea, he looks set to take back with him both Courtois and Essien. Thibaut Courtois is on loan from Chelsea to Atletico Madrid and Essien to Real Madrid. West Ham United have also shown some interest in Essien while Pepe looks set to join City if the price is right. Rain didn’t wash away Barca’s joy at Camp Nou

Barca beat Valladolid last night at the Camp Nou and are still on course for getting the magical 100 points this season if they beat Espanyol and Malaga in the last two games. The match last night was played in torrential rain ans saw only 50,000 Barca fans make it to the stadium. The rain didn’t wash out the post match celebrations however.
