Neymar to wear number 11 or number 7 shirt

One of the questions that will be revealed when Neymar is presented is the the number that the 21 year old Brazilian will be wearing on his back for the Catalan giants. At the moment, the two numbers that Neymar has worn and likes are both occupied at Barcelona. They are the numbers 7 and 11 which are worn by David Villa and Thiago Alcántara respectively.

For Santos, Neymar he wears the number 11 shirt, while for Brazil the star started off his career wearing the number 7 then changed it to 11 as a tribute to one of his idols who was also a Barca player, Romario.

What number will Neymar wear for Barca?

Yesterday, in the FC Barcelona official stores they began Neymar to sell shirts with both numbers, which would be freed up only in the event that both Villa and Thiago do not continue at the Catalan club next season.

David Villa has an imporant offer from North London club Tottenham Hotspur and his Barca exit is taken for granted after a very disappointing season for him and not being counted on by coach Tito Vilanova. As for Thiago Alcantara, his buyout clause is only 18Million Euros, and the young player is seriously pondering over his departure from the club as he is not happy with the percentage of games he has played this season for the Catalans.

We had already mentioned the ridiculous price of Thiago as set out by his clause in case the player didn’t get to play a certain number of games here in this post. Manchester United have already tempted Thiago with an offer and we are sure there will be more to follow over the coming weeks.

My name’s Aaron and I’m a great Barça fan. I like to tell it like it is and if there is something I don’t like about the club or something that needs addressing, you’ll know!
