Barca makes sure at Zaragoza with 3-0 win

It was left up to Barca’s youth academy boys to fire the Catalans to a 3 nil win over Zaragoza yesterday. Goals came from Thiago Alcántara and Christian Tello, who snatched a brace with a great performance to match. Alexis Sánchez representative in Italy for talks with Juventus

As reported by the Italian channel Sky Sport 24, Alexis Sanchez’s manager Fernando Felicevich, was in Turin, Italy yesterday to meet with the Sporting director of Italian giants Juventus, Fabio Paratici. Real Madrid fans want Barca in the semi finals

In a few hours we will know who FC Barcelona will meet in the semi finals of the Champions League. Both sets of fans from the two Spanish sides have a clear idea of who they’d like to meet. While Real Madrid fans would relish the chance to meet Barca, the Catalan fans would prefer the German outfit Borussia Dortmund with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in second and third place respectively. Messi comes off bench to inspire Barca win

Leo Messi came off the bench last night at the Nou Camp in order to inspire his team. Inspired they were and found the goal necessary via Pedro to take them into the semi finals of the Champions League. Barca’s last training session before showdown with PSG

Barca will be just finishing up their last training session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper before heading off to have lunch. This training session will be vital in order to know the condition of Leo Messi along with Pedro and Adriano. UEFA denies punishing ref Wolfgang Stark

According to Spanish sports daily El Mundo Deportivo, Wolfgang Stark has not been punished for his bad refereeing at the Paris Saint-Germain v Barcelona game last week. However, he will not be officiating any more Champions League matches this year as chairman Pierluigi Collina has already chosen an elite team to take care of the semis and the final. Leo Messi calculates the risk of playing against PSG

Leo Messi has to calculate the risk of playing against Paris Saint-Germain at the Nou Camp in the second leg of their quarter final decider in the Champions League. Recent sensations point to Messi running a risk if he does play as the player still has a sore hamstring. Alex Song, a rock against Mallorca

Alex Song gave a great performance at the Nou Camp on Saturday night and Jordi Roura reiterated the fact when he said that Alex had a “great game.” Song gave a solid performance that was only eclipsed by the 3 goals by Fabregás and the brace by Alexis although the player that stole the night had to be the comeback game of Eric Abidal.
