Barca’s last training session before showdown with PSG


Barca held its last training session this morning before the Catalan team’s encounter with Paris Saint Germain tonight at the Nou Camp The team will meet at the W Hotel a few hours before the clash in which they seek to seal their golden ticket to the semifinals of the Champions League.

The training session began at 12:00 midday in the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. They started off with some gentle stretching so that the technical team can estimate the physical condition of all its players.

This training session will be vital in order to know the condition of Leo Messi and his previous feelings towards his possible incorporation in the team’s first eleven. Leo is not alone, as the fitness of both Adriano and Pedro will also be monitored closely.

Afterwards, the team, along with Tito Vilanova, will head off to the W Hotel, where they will meet together hours before the crucial match against the French outfit.

The players will have lunch around 14:00 which will be  rich in carbohydrates where after they will go to their respective rooms to rest until midafternoon.

At 18:00 the players will have another light meal, this time including some tea, coffee, juices, and toast etc.

Then it will be Tito Vilanova’s turn to give his last chat and announce his final eleven who’ll seek glory and a place in the Champions League semi-final.

The team bus won’t be leaving the hotel until around 6:45 p.m., in which the players and coaching staff will all head over to the Nou Camp, where they will have a multitude of fans waiting for them.
