Arsenal still very much interested in David Villa

David Villa rescues Barca from Sevilla at Nou Camp

It wasn’t one of Barcelona’s better performances this season and perhaps the ghosts of San Siro are coming back to haunt the Catalan side. Seville’s Botía put them ahead and made it one nil just before the half time whistle. Barcelona to play match for peace in Tel Aviv in July

Barca president Sandro Rosell has confirmed that the Catalan club will participate in the match for peace which is scheduled to take place at the Ramat Gan Stadium near Tel Aviv. Rosell met with Israeli president Simon Peres yesterday and will meet with his Palestinian opposite number today to finalise details of the match which will be against a mixed side of Israeli and Palestinian international players.

Xavi Hernandez rubbishes insinuations of Barca being a failure

Barcelona’s Xavi Hernandez rubbished insinuations of Barca being a failure after their 2 nil drubbing by Italian giants A.C Milan. Barcelona have had a magnificent season so far and some fans could see Barca’s elimination from the last 16 of the Champions League as a failure but Xavi doesn’t agree. He said that Barca will try to turn the result around knowing that it will be very difficult.
