Victor Valdes not to renew his contract with Barca

The representatives of Barcelona’s Victor Valdes have told the club at a meeting this afternoon that the goalkeeper will not renew his contract with FC Barcelona. Valdes’ contract runs out on 30th June 2014 and will not be renewing. Valdes has already said this month that he would like a change of scenery and would like to try other cultures and football before he finally retires from football.

Barcelona back Guardiola’s move to Bayern Munich

Barcelona’s stars have backed former Barca coach Pep Guardiola’s move to the German Bundesliga to take the reins at Bayern Munich for three years. Coach Tito Vilanova, sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta along with a host of Barcelona’s stars including captain Carles Puyol have all endorsed Guardiola’s move and wish him all the best for the future.

Camacho leaves Nou Camp dumbstruck with late goal

Barca failed to put Malaga to the sword last night at the Nou Camp and have made it difficult for themselves next Thursday at La Rosaleda stadium for the second leg of their Copa del Rey clash. Fine goals from both Lionel Messi and Carles Puyol and a few missed chances failed to put the Catalan club in the driving seat for next week’s decider.

Guardiola shocks Premier League by Choosing Bayern Munich

Ex Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has shocked the world this afternoon by signing for German giants Bayern Munich. The Catalan, who is on a sabbatical in New york, has penned a three-year deal at the Allianz Arena stadium and will take over from Jupp Heynckes in July. Bayern are currently top of the Bundesliga 9 points clear of Bayer Leverkusen.

Guardiola to take charge of a Premier League club next season

Ahead of the English FA’s 150 year anniversary, Ex Barça coach Pep Guardiola has made his next destination known – the English Premier League. With offers coming in from the top 3 clubs in the country and Chelsea willing to break the bank to land him, Guardiola looks set to coach in England after his sabbatical.

Rosell: Man City has tried to lure players away from Barca

Sandro Rosell, speaking to radio station RAC1 has spoken about several current issues at the club and said that Manchester City has tried but failed to tempt Barcelona’s stars to leave. He also said that David Villa is going nowhere and feels that the contract renewal of the Barca keeper Victor Valdes is not far away.

If anyone witnessed on Sunday the Barcelona triangle passing against Malaga in La Rosaleda stadium, it was nothing short of amazing. It was Barcelona showboating their awesome skills at the highest possible level. Normally such quick and intricate passing combinations are usually reserved for the training field but Barca prefers to use their skill on the pitch.

Untouchable Barca stings Malaga at La Roseleda

With goals coming from Cesc Fabregás, Leo Messi and Thiago, that was enough to see off Málaga away last night in La Rosaleda stadium. There wasn’t much pellegrini’s Malaga could do to stop the steamroller called Barcelona who had to settle for a consolation goal late in the match.
