Milan interested in Cesc

This season so far has not been the best start for midfield star Cesc Fabregás, but the player’s intention is to convince Barca coach Tito Vilanova that he deserves a place in the starting eleven of Barcelona.

For this reason, Fabregás is not ready to leave the club before the end of his contract. Sources in Italy though are convinced that Milan will try to attempt to lure the Catalan away in the winter transfer market.

El Corriere dello Sport claimed in yesterday’s edition that AC Milan was seriously considering contacting FC Barcelona if his situation did not change in the coming weeks. The article spoke of the good relationship between the two clubs and to reaffirm that ex Barcelona star Bojan has ended up in Milan this season on loan from Roma.

But Fabregás has wanted to make it clear that his intention is to succeed in Barcelona especially after how much it cost him to return to the Camp Nou. Fabregas says that for him there is no other choice but to fight for a first team place in Barca’s starting eleven and to regain the magic that dazzled the fans during his time at North London club Arsenal.

FC Barcelona are not even evaluating the possibility of Cesc leaving the club. Sources said that the arrival of Cesc Fabregás had been a priority for two years and his outlay was too much of an expense to transfer him to another club. In addition, the season has just started and you can not evaluate a player over two games.

Cesc’s performance has opened a debate early in the season and even the midfielder has been forced to defend himself publicly. Let’s not forget that coach Vilanova knows him well from his time at the club and also endorsed his signing.
